Wedding Woes

today's crap

-I have a migraine.

-I'm at the busiest I get all year starting a week or so ago (snowdays have made this worse), until the 1st of april.  (although a lot of it is 'hurr hurry, wait wait--si I might have to work until 2 am but have nothing to work on from 8 am until noon)...so my coworker called ins ick today and I"m trying to do 3 jobs.  I hate his employees and supervsing them.

-If anyone else gives me lip about wearing safety goggles (see above hating employees), they can flucking go home and not work.  I don't care that my coworker is OK w/ them going blind; on days when it's my job, they'll wear the goggles.

-I hate safety goggles more than those employees.  And ANYTHING that messes w/ my vision makes the migraine worse.  Damn the goggles, they successfully moved it from 'mostly squiggly' to 'ow'

-It's the Mr's birthday and he's so not getting any tonight.  sorry Mr.

I have to work on my day off tomorrow because we're hosting a very nerdy compitition.
yay for calculus.

Do you think these employees need the flaming projectile high molar acid at their face demonstration to get the point across?  Or would a screwdriver throttled at their exposed eyeballs suffice?

I think a screwdriver isn't enough, but vats of acid would fix 'em.

They say it's *fairly* inert--they're right.
But they turn on hotplates and put erlys of chemicals on them...therefore they WILL wear goggles--even if they are just making Agar.

And then they go into micro--they WILL wear goggles AND gloves--even if they are just making Broth.

Honestly, if it's a 1 in a million thing...well...I'm probably approaching the millionth time I've done some lab procedures.  I'm due for my '1'.
