My soon to be husband refuses to have teh loser at the wedding, and i fully support him!    !  Unfortunately, my family has said we either invite the P.O.S. or they aren't coming!  What to do!?!??!?!  What would you do?!?!?!

if your sister is dating him, she isn't that much of a winner either.

    You all sound unbelievably unreasonable.

But no, you shouldn't have to have anyone at your wedding that you don't want to be there, generally speaking, and if your family gives you an ultimatum like that, then call their bluff and tell them they'll be missed.

Does your sister know what this guy did to you? Does the rest of your family? This is just so trashy on so many levels.

My sister knows - my dad knows too.  I haven't really wanted to discuss this issue in too much detail with the rest of my family (grandparents, aunts & uncles, etc)....its embarassing and yes, trashy!  I'm embarrassed that I was ever stupid enough to be involved with a loser like him in the first place, and this just makes it all the worse!

How old were you when you two dated?  How long ago was this?

For some reason I'm picturing you and the guy were in hs when he cheated.  So I said move on.  Now if you two were living together and had a couple of kids I'd change my answer.

I think your family is being unreasonable!  It's your wedding and you can invite who you want and not invite who you don't want. It's pretty messed up of them to take that POS side over yours. I wouldn't give in, stand your ground.

It's your wedding baby. If your man is comfortable with it and neither are you, then to hell with everyone else! Quit letting everyone tell you what you should with your wedding. This is the one time it's all about you!
