I tried to stay home and sleep in, but my stupid sister texted me. Grandpa was in the hospital and now the easter trip to uncle's desert home is cancelend. She wants me to stay with my grandpa while I am there....um, no.

I am not paying all that money, missing two days of work, so I can sit in his house and watch him watching TV. I just suffered through one weekend on family crap, I am not doing it again. I told her I'd sooner cancel. She said, well isn't what mom wants most important. I said what I want is important, too. So...there is that.

min, that sounds like one waste of a weekend. sorry about the family stuff and grandpa's hospital stay, but it is what it is.

We will see what my mom says. My sister is trying to pull the whole, mom should get whatever she wants, mom's happiness is most important, blah blah blah. I spent a lot of years doing what mom wanted. Now, I am not going to spend three nights being uncomfortable.

FWIW, my mom's house has two rooms -- one with a twin and one with a double. Other sister sleeps in the double, so H and I can stay in one twin bed at mom's, or two twin beds at gpa's. And no, other sister will not move to offer the double bed to us, which is just fuckinggreat of her.

Sister #1 keeps saying that we were coming out for grandpa's bday, which is her reasoning to stay with him. No, we came out for the trip to the desert which was supposed to be all palnned out. Now, at midnight last night she starts asking me what I want to do. Uh, not go to south orange county. If I wanted to go there, I would live there.

Hi, I'm in San Diego for the day. I'm annoyed with work right now over my assignments (specifically that I don't know wtf is going on with them) and everyone seems to be dickering about it with out really asking ME what I think. Fine.

I'm excited for this trip. It's been over a week since my last trip and I'm stir crazy.

FTR, I am taking off a day in May to stay at home by myself.
