bridesmaid dresses in the wrong color

I just received my bridesmaid dresses and they ordered the wrong color.  I got banana instead of butter.  The banana yellow color is really referring to the inside color of the banana and basically looks like the color of my apartment walls (beige).  How can I make this work?

If your shop put that color down and you signed the order slip, you're basically stuck with them.  Honestly, none of your guests will know that the dresses were supposed to be different unless you tell them. Even if the shade is slightly different from the other yellow in your color scheme...I promise you, no one will notice or care.

Whose mistake was it? If it was the shops, I'd be raising holy hell until new dresses arrived. If it was yours, you're pretty much SOL.
