I have work to do, but I forgot my stupid ring to fix this dumb office chair that keeps sinking. It makes typing medical summaries hard (I just look at the page, not the screen), so until after lunch, I'm doing busy work and this.
So, the AZ bill lit a fire under my a$$. Especially since KS is debating similar bill and KS and MO are just a bit too close, sharing a city and all.
I just helped start a National Organization of Women (NOW) chapter in my little city. We actually had a good turnout on Friday to get it started and are expecting more next month (this was the start of Spring Break). I am treasurer. Holy cow, this organization wants a LOT of work out of it's chapters. Hopefully we're able to get off the ground and running. First up is what I'm talking about next:
There is going to be a march on every state's capital on 4/28/12, the March Against the War on Women. There's a national page on FB and each state has their own page to share information as well. It looks to be well organized, with each state already having permits secured and parking/march paths planned. Come out!
