So I got a call from the insurance carrier for the company saying that the agent turned in a utility hit claim. I was very skeptical, took the name of the adjuster and called my agent.
Turns out there is an online claim service where you can submit a claim, ANYONE can and even say it's from the "agent".
Um no. It was the utility company or their collector. Not the agent. Agent has called the carrier's manager of claim service, I called back the adjuster and we're denying and closing it.
This is all done on the DL, because otherwise Bossman will go into histrionics and freak out. He's threated and actually left insurance carriers for this. oh lord.
