Recently my mom and I quit talking for about a week because she is upset I am inviting my dad. They have been seperated since I was in High School (I'm 33yrs now) and still to this day my mom is bitter about him. I don't think it's fair for her to make me feel like I need to pick sides. He's my dad I'm inviting him and they can go or not. I told her if they go they need to be adults and civil or not go at all. It sounds to me like she would rather not go.
