So we've been having a bunch of bomb threats here at the university where I work. I'm talking multiple times per day for the past few months, multiple buildings, and now in the residence halls in the middle of the night. No bombs ever, mind you, just e-mailed threats from one of those overseas anonymity servers originally intended for third world political dissidents. It's really damned annoying, and it's costing the university a lot of money, and now they've responded by funnelling all traffic to each building through one inconvenient set of doors where security guards will check your bag and make sure you don't have a bomb, except in off-hours, when the person making the threats will probably claim they've snuck it in. It's the biggest waste of time and efforts ever, just to feel like they're doing something when they're not really.
And now that I'm already all irate at having to walk to an entrance two buildings away and stand in line just to get to my lab that's in the building right next to my parking lot, I keep hitting the gaadamn "watch this discussion" when intending to go back to the main Wedding Woes page, and that makes me mad, too.
Whoever is sending those e-mails needs to be sliced with the edges of Princess Rainbow and then smeared in my poop.
