A month ago the toilet in our first floor bathroom started running ALL THE TIME. It ran once in a while before but this was getting out of hand so I shut off the water and declared it off limits until H could fix it. Then a week passed, then two. He finally bought the parts but then those parts sat on the toilet for over a week. He finally got around to it on Sunday and couldn't get some part to come off, got discouraged and quit.
This bathroom is right outside my office door. For the past three weeks I've been holding it and waiting until the absolute last second to race up the stairs to use the other bathroom. I'm just that lazy.
I called a plumber yesterday. They came, they fixed. $90 but worth it. And now I can't wait to get back to my 60 second bathroom breaks.
