Wedding Woes

I'm glad DH knows how to

- fix the washing machine
- take care of the kids so I can cry in peace
- make me smile

The washing machine was plugged up with change, part of a plastic spoon, a pair of tweezers, and a hair tie.  Oops.

YAY! Way to come through, Mr. 6!

  • M2 decided not to nap today so she fell asleep at 630.  Makes me a little scared for morning.  DH gave 6let a bath and put him to bed at 8.  My kids might be early risers, but they are super about going down so it's hard to complain too much about that.
  • YAY Mr. 6!!!
  • Mr. 6 for the win!

And washing machiens should be able to handle that stuff--it's 'normal use', no?
  • Gb- there is a trap and a drain in the bottom of this front loader.  Loose change, socks (Batman to be precise), pens, earplugs, and various other things collect in there so it doesn't go out the drain.  Pieces fo fuzz collect around the random stuff and eventually clog things up so the washer won't drain.  It cost us $75 to figure this out years ago.  Now we just need to take care of it every 6-12 months.  It's just a PITA to get a 700 lb unit up to drain into a bucket.
  • that would be a PITA...at lesat you know how to fix it, but, uh, yeah, draining doesn't sound like fun.
