Weird reco request

I bought a cotton area rug yesterday, but I clearly need a pad underneath it to keep it from bunching and skidding.

Any recommendations? Or is one as good as another. It's a 5X8.

We just got a cheap pad at Target.  It has lasted 3 years so far.

ETA:  Our rug is 6X9 and I remember having to cut the pad to size.  But it was no big deal to do.

Caulk the bottom of the rug.

it's a beyotch to cut to size, but i think it's a bit more cushy than those thin rubbery anti-skid pads. we have this under our 8x10 area rug in our family room. no issues with skidding or bunching. it's been a year or so.
