No, this isn't about me having trouble to find my wedding dress (it's way too early for that!) This is actually about the show Say Yes to the Dress depressing me last night!
One of the new episodes this week featured a bride whose mother had MS really badly - she had breathing tubes and everything. To add to this, the bride revealed that her sister died at the age of 18 from MS!
You see, my father has MS. He's was diagnosed when I was young - probably 3 or 4 years old - but it seems like forever to me. Luckily, his MS isn't TOO bad...He is blind in one eye and was given a cane, although he's too stubborn to use it. He had a bad relapse a few months ago that everyone initially thought was a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital.
I'm very much a daddy's girl so my father's MS scares the heck outta me. I also have that constant fear that I may be diagnosed with it someday too....
So way to go, TLC. Way to depress me with what I thought was going to be a relaxing show!
(Yeah, I'm not asking any questions. Just ranting about a show that nearly made me cry last night. =/)
