SIL is a L&D nurse at a local hospital. I believe she was originally due on 7/27 or 7/28. Well, she wanted to deliver with a certain doctor. And he was working this past Saturday 7/21 and then again Wednesday 7/25.
Wednesday is also the birthday of one of her friend's children, so she didn't want her newest born on that day.
So what does she do? She gets induced on Saturday...just waltzes in and says "it is time!". Ha. And unfortunately baby was in distress due to cord issues and had to be delivered via csection.
Baby is awfully cute, but I was a little *eyebrow raise* at the whole schedule, induce and birthday situation...
