I just need to vent a little. I had a problem w/ my MOH becuase she wanted to go partying w/ one of her boyfriends 4th of July weekend and I declined. She lives w/ her baby daddy whom also I don't like. they have been living together for 10 years and she's never been engaged. she sent me an email saying "i'm sorry that I am as happy as I should be, but it should be me getting married." This is not my first wedding, but her comments were completely uncalled for. I had never asked her to do anything special but I wanted to host a BBQ for my very close family and the entire bridal party so that those whom do not know each other would be able to meet prior to my wedding. So she tells me that she has to check w/ her party friends to see if they have anything scheduled, if they do not then she's free to come see me. I mean no this is not the actual wedding day, but she made me feel as though I'm her second choice. when I told her my feelings she threatened to return her dress. I was so upset w/ her that I told her if she felt like returning the dress then that it would be fine w/ me, in fact, I was NOW asking that she do so. Not cool. She sends me a nasty email calling me a F'ing Bridezilla and a F'ing B**tch. then proceed to call my entire family to tell them that I had the audacity to fire her and cry while making herself the victim.
Needless to say we are no longer friends nor anithing for that matter. My niece whom I had accidently overlooked is thrilled to be my bridemaid.
Now I'm not sure how long it takes to order and recieve a bridemaid dress. Can anyone tell me since my former MOH ordered her dress on line and would not even tell me how much she spent on it.
