Invictus
Could've been interesting, but the director, writer, Morgan Freeman, and Matt Damon called it in in. It was just very dry, didn't have a lot of passion, didn't really feel suspenseful, and didn't do anything interesting to the rugby plays. I mean, I KNOW what happened in Miracle and Cinderella Man, but was still on the edge of my seat in those movies. This one, not so much.
Kick-Ass
It was just bad. I'm not sure if it was trying to be a black comedy or a satire or blasphemy or what, but once you got past the cursing little girl it was just a stupid coming-of-age movie, in tights.
Be Kind, Rewind
I laughed a lot. It's just a fun, somewhat witty movie, with Mos Def and Jack Black being funny. Danny Glover made me uncomfortable for some reason and if you like happy, resolved endings, you won't like this. But their "Sweded" treatments had me rolling sometimes. The garland as the Ghostbusters weapons had DH rolling every time they showed it.
