Wedding Woes

judging

i judge bottle blondes with roots.  i think it's a terrible look.  having whatever colored hair is awesome, and the blonde never looks natural or normal.  highlights and lowlights, i can get behind, but the total yellow look is just awful.

I know exactly what you're talking about, and I judge this, too.

Especially when it's completely the wrong color blond.

When we were on the bus back to our hotel, my mom and I were judging a couple sitting a few rows in front of us. She had that awful yellow blond hair, and her husband's hair looked like she took whatever was left over and slapped it on his head. Not a good look.

Agreed.   But the same goes for anyone who doesn't keep their roots touched-up.   I color my hair every 4 weeks because of this.

i judge adults who shop at stores for kids.  eventually, you have to give up urban outfitters and hot topic.

I think it looks just as (if not more) strange without roots. No-contrast hair looks like a wig. Holly from The Girls Next Door, I'm talking to you.

I posted once about judging a 50-something in a Hollister hoodie, and Val and--I think--pkat strenuously objected.  I stand by my judgment.

hmo - what if I just go to UO to buy successories and funny books?   Is that OK?
I don't fit into their clothes anyway.

I still buy a few random items from UO. Age-appropriate items. Like a sweatshirt, not short shorts and overalls.

Hot Topic. Well, there's just no excuse for that. E gets a pass because she's a rockstar.
