Wedding Woes

rolling blackouts

i hate when they do this - it's been so hot that TX power grids can't keep up with demand. they're likely going to start rolling blackouts today. luckily i don't need the network for what i'm working on, unluckily i'll need to walk up and down 4 floors to pump because i don't want to get stuck in the elevator - and i'll have to pump in my car if the power goes out for too long.

That sucks.  I hope it doesn't last too long.

last time it was off for about 15 minutes every hour. it was one of the few very cold(for TX) days in  the winter, and they did it for about half of a day.

i was still on leave then. wolverine and i tried to run errands, which didn't work out so well.

    Ugh... major suckage.

we've discovered that on the hottest days, our apartment elevator breaks. Whether it's ConEd or something else... we end up walking up/down 14 flights of stairs (two flights per floor). It was awful before but now it REALLY sucks since we have the baby and all of her gear.

Do you have a hand pump?

This also makes me glad I had an office to pump in.
