Background: From my front door to office door is .99 of a mile. This irks me. So, I decided to do a lap around the track we have at work to hit the mile mark.
Background #2: The track is set up behind the parking lot, behind my office building, so it's a round track through a nice little field, maybe 1/4 mile long. Every morning when we usually get there, there are 2 geese in the middle of the track, honking and carrying on. Bennett and Zelda could care less, but I imagine these geese are yelling curses at us.
We must've left a bit early this morning. When we got to the track, the geese weren't there yet. So, we start doing our lap. We're about half way through when we hear furious honking (goose). The geese are standing in the middle of the parking lot, just honking at us. They were PISSED that we were walking around that track already. I guess they didn't want to cross over with the dogs there. And cars were honking at the stupid geese to get them to move out of the parking lot. We caused quite the commotion.
We quickly finished the lap so we could get outta there.
