My FI and I were planning on having a small wedding. No more than maybe a 100 people. My mom asked if she could pay for the wedding and I told her she didn't have to and she said she wanted too.
Now..... she doesn't like who I picked as my MOH, nor does my other bridesmaid, she doesn't like my florist, she has begun holding things over my head to try to get me to bend to what she WANTS instead of asking what I would like or want since it is MY wedding (I'm trying to be a Bridezilla). The wedding is much BIGGER than he or I wanted. : ( My FI is pretty much fed up with my mom and he has said to me that if she doesn't know how to act like an adult she won't have a wedding to pay for.
My problem is that I am pretty much ready to call it quits myself cause no one seems to be happy doing what I would like to do.
My mom has paid for the dress and veil, we have contracts with several people who if we back out my mom has lost her money or will have to finish paying for the rest of it if we decided not to do the wedding.
I am at a loss and have no idea what to do. The wedding is Oct of this year and it just upsets me that no one seems to be happy. This is the reason why I didn't want to have a big wedding anyway because of stuff like this.
I can just see everyone sething while the cereamony is taking place.
What a big mess!
