Wedding Woes

Excellent.

I got the agent on the phone and now I want the house even more. I told H about it over the phone and he's all excited, too. It's next door to an orange grove and we could have all the oranges we wanted. It's a mid-century modern on the end of the street with really only one neighbor, it's in a canyon, in the woods (in an area that is NOT prone to fires, knock-wood), and the owner is looking for a long-term tenant. Gah, I only wish we had the balls (or lack of common sense) to sign the lease without seeing it first. But we can't get ahead of ourselves. Can we?

Do you have the resources to fly there to see the house for yourself?  I would not sign a long-term lease on a home sight unseen.

How long is the lease?  Maybe you can sweet talk L or Jojo into taking a day trip to see it.

Nah, we'd definitely want to see it. We (okay, I) need to pump the brakes. The agent was actually on his way to show it to another couple, so who knows if it'll even be available in two weeks.

    Oh well. We'll find something.

If you've got oranges, you'll have rats/critters.  They'll keep Toby busy.
