Son of a mother...

My friend is visiting this weekend.  His plane tickets are purchased, events planned, etc.  My mother clucking period started this morning.  Hooray for cramps and bloat!

Guess I need to cancel my waxing appt. on Weds.

Because when your on your period, you have increased blood flow to your junk. More blood flow makes it more painful.

Boo!  :(   Will your period be gone by the time your friend gets here this weekend?

IDK, Mrs.Conn.  That's the sonnabitch of the IUD.  IDK when it's coming, how long it's staying or when it's going.

Yes, canceling your waxing appt and have it moved back. It'll hurt like a mofo if you go on Wed.

I've noticed that with mine too.   I've been averaging a period once every 2 mos or so, but it's usually longer than what they used to be (before I'd average 6-7 days...Now it can be up to 10 or more).  And it's given me the lovely PMS side-effect of nausea.

I still think I'd take fewer periods and not taking pills daily over pill-form BC and monthly visit.

Agreed.  It's just the worst timing ever, of course.

Hopefully you'll at least be pretty light by the weekend.  And maybe stick with shaving the ladygarden this time?
