    Exactly.  She'll certainly be a comfort thumbsucker in her teens.

    And word to the Cruises.  One will never be cool to be 16  in Louboutins or Dior with a paci.  Not even if you're at a rave and high on E.

    Whoa.  She's got to be, what, 4?  5 years old?

    ETA:  I just did a quick search.  She'll be 5 human years old next month.

    My BIL & SIL shut the door on pacifiers when their kids were 2 - 3.

    Can't using a pacifier for too long have an effect on a child's speech as well as being horrific for their dental health?

    DH was hardcore with the kiddo on bottles (1 year) , pacifiers (18 mos), and potty training (2-2.5).  When he decided the kiddo was done, he was done.   We joke about DH starting his own "Potty Training Boot-Camp".
