1.  I'm one of those people now.  I am b-r-o-k-e and can't afford to fix my car - - but I did get a new fancy cell phone.  

2.  I read that the TSA is now allowing some small knives to be taken on planes.  But I still can't bring more than 1 quart size bag of liquids, or my cuticle scissors, or knitting needles... I feel sooooooooo safe.   8[

3.  DD calls a rhinoceras a rhi-top-er-nous and it's hilarious.  We keep bringing up rhinos in conversation so that we can hear her say it.

4. I may have already shared this, but in case I didn't, DD cried during a sad part of a movie the other night.   It was the cutest darn thing I've ever seen.  And she's just like her mommy, because I cry at commercials even.

You can bring knitting needles. I never had a problem with them- plastic, wood, or metal.

I miss my smartphone with a passion sometimes.  On the other hand, I'm hyper aware of how much everyone is on the damn thing and how annoying it is.  We're not sure if we're going to go back or not.  Another reason everyone will call us Luddites.

**O-Face**

-I'm so close to being full time, okay...not really.  I'm still hovering around 24 hrs/week.  But once our big job starts?  FULL TIME. 

-Along with that I got my third "john dear" letter in the mail in about 10 days.  I should be more upset, but it's actually funny how similar they all are.  There must be a universal template around.

-I love gummy bears.  LOVE.

24 hours is a nice start, i would love that as a temporary schedule. imagine all the things you could get done now before full time starts! i'd love to cut my schedule to 30-32 hours a week.

also, i might be transitioning to a different department, which *might* mean a better schedule. bright side is that it is a better job than what i have now. i need this to happen. we have some first world problems going on here that some people would poopoo that these are even problems, but having a better schedule would make life so much easier.
