this includes athletic and non-athletic teams and sports.  by secondary school, he means high school.

SCORING: Two points maximum. Score 2 points if you got any high school varsity letter for athletics; no points for academic clubs like chess, debate or math. Score 2 points if you were a cheerleader or in the marching band.

you could at my high school. you had to participate in a minimum of 4 shows as a member of the cast or stage crew.
