because i'm stressed about who is coming to our wedding that I can't wait any longer and I'm going to send our invites out next week.. it'll be passed the 3 month mark so TK thinks its a good idea... hopefully we'll get a lot of responses quickly.

    Oh and the thing I need to constantly remind myself... Who is going to know wedding etiquette other than brides who just got married and were stressed about it themselves?

    Definitely do it!  It doesn't hurt to send them out early - it could only hurt to send them out late.  That's what i told myself when i sent mine out!!!

    Um...but if you send yours out now I'm REALLY going to start hyperventilating!! I had planned to have mine out last week but have had some delays and now think it will be a miracle if I can get them out no later than Saturday.

    You are fine KST! What date is your wedding? I just got my cousin's invite and their wedding is Memorial day weekend (the did send STD's) and she is a wedding planner!

    From what I've heard you'll get a bunch initially then it'll dwindle then a bunch right towards the date, so just keep that in mind.  Hopefully the bunch initially will include a ton of "Unable to attend" to ease things a bit.

    Tygirl, but mine is almost a whole MONTH before yours :P So you're still ok! I also DID NOT send STD so it's only been word of mouth/email. Oh well...

    Send them! I sent mine out about 2 weeks before the etiquette 3 months. I think it's just a suggestion. Just like speed limit signs and yellow lights.
