i went looking for an old post of wz's where she said something to edfj about tying a kid to a tree with a note "jesus, do me a favor and keep an eye on this; tia" bu because it was under your old sn, it's gone.

My good friend is from New Zealand. I want to know if this is true, but more importantly I want to know if leaving kids in the car is like a regular thing.

When I lived in New Zealand for a short period the people there really were the nicest people - I flipped a car down a giant hill and every.single.person. stopped to make sure I was okay, then they STAYED for the ambulance and one guy was kind enough to drive me home (an hour out of his way).

They say New Zealand is also one of the last places on earth it's still safe to hitchike...I believe it.

That still doesn't mean it's a smart idea to leave a kid in a car unattended though.
