i don't get the whole "ZOMG I"M SOOOOOO STRESSED AND HAVING NIGHTMARES EVERY NIGHT AND CAN'T DEAL WITH ALL OF THE PRESSURE" type posts.

(other than people who may suffer from an actual PhD/MD-diagnosed-stress/anxiety disorder) I can't see letting a glorified party take over your entire life. How do these people manage their day-to-day lives?

Apparently conflict is something that doesn't pop up for some people until late in life.

Meh.  I had more than a few melt downs during wedding planning.  It is more than a glorified party after all.  You are entering a life-long contract AND throwing quite possibly the biggest party of your life.  It's kind of a big deal.

i agree -- it is a big deal.  but you handle your business rather than just sit and cry at your computer.

if my makeup artist quit, i would be on the phone finding another one rather than ruin my makeup that day by crying.

i2i with hmo on handling your business.

if something goes wrong, it's annoying to fix, but not the end of the world like so many people make it out to be.

Hell, I got two months before the wedding and had no dress.  I survived.
