Wedding Woes

s/o Mirena

Not sure if I shared this, but here's a funny.

I got the installation over with.  Waited a few days, and H was all "so we can DO IT now??!?".  Yep.

But he was all squirmy because he was afraid it would...POKE him.  As if it was hard and would puncture his actual penis. Because you know, he doesn't already have a hole in it.

Andplusalso, I had to show him a diagram of how a uterus works.

Lord, this is not good.  If we ever have children, he'll be afraid to have sex.  I'll be a pentup whore for 9 months.

I'm cracking up at "installation," as if you had basic cable hooked up to your uterus.

My doctor said DH may be able to feel the wire at first, until it separates into finer threads.  Guess we'll wait and see.  Oh, and yeah, at first DH was totally squeamish about sex while KU--"I don't want to hit the baby" and all that.  I told him that's the problem with biochem (his undergrad major)--you learn all kinds of cellular pathways and reactions and everything, but apparently nothing as basic as human anatomy.

H swore up and down he could feel the strings. When I went back the next week to check placement, I told my gyn. She "cut" the strings (or so she told him) and all of a sudden he couldn't feel anything anymore.

He hasn't complained yet, and I'd imagine he'd stop mid-thrust to be all "owie, peenie hurts", so it must be fine.

This made me laugh out loud.  Awesome.

H was a little worried the first time.  He forgot about it pretty quickly.
