ha!  Yes, I've never fallen asleep, but I've closed my eyes before and they didn't like that much.

I have not fulfilled what I try to do in the last 2 years--I try to at least give as much as my immediate family [that would be...gramps :=P] uses in a given year.  I don't always succeed but I try)

Well, I was all reclined in the red cross blood van, so I closed my eyes like "Yeeesssss, NAP!" I start dozing off, when I hear:

"Ma'am? Ma'am!" (which annoys me, because I am NOT a "Ma'am" by any means)

I open my eyes. "Yes?"

Commence the interrogation.

 "How do you feel? Can you feel it when I do this? Can you feel you legs? Are you light headed? Soandso, get that *word-i-didnt-understand* kit. Do you feel tired, Ma'am?"

"Yes, I'm tired. I didn't sleep last night."

So this guy sat next to me for 15 min, clutching a cooler (which had the "kit" of whatever in it) and questioned me about random things. I had to stay reclined for awhile after I finished and then got escorted to the snacks and observed there while I self consciously ate some oreos. And then some chips ahoy. And cheezits. And 2 cans of apple juice.

At least I got extra snacks.
