Anyone have Valentine's plans?

I just realized it was tomorrow so we'll be getting some cards. I really hope DH believed me when I said not to do anything. I sure didn't get him anything.

Mr. Arb is on call, so nothing really. He made me a card using the Card app on the iPhone that was mailed last week, which was really sweet. I don't care so much for gifts or big plans, but I do swoon over a (relatively) homemade card.

if i have a chance to stop for groceries on the way home, i'll make something nice for dinner.

we're planning to go to the melting pot on the next day that daycare offers babysitting, since it was not an option last weekend.

dh is getting some homemade cookies -- but they will not be made by me! i ordered them from a friend who makes amazing, cant wait quality cookies.

i don't know what dh plans for me. i hope he wants to get a heart shaped pizza or something equally awesome.

uhhhh.nope. I think we're exchanging candy and cards...or at least that is my plan. We were going to go skiing this weekend but we couldn't book the doggie hotel until NEXT weekend. We could've gone with a different kennel, but no---I like the one we use 98% of the time. I can wait a week for that.

I work tomorrow, so dh is making me our traditional Vday dinner of pasta. It's what he can cook well and what he always makes me. Wednesday I get my implanon out and i am making him banana cream pie as my I love you, here eat this gift.

We will celebrate this weekend. I suppose he might send flowers to the office. Then I know he bought a present....I didn't look at his accounts, because I don't want to spoil the surprise.....however, after the awful necklace he got me for xmas, I made him a list of things I would like from Tiffany's, so it's not going to be much of a surprise.

His vday gift, is combined with his bday gift, which is a mini-shopping spree. We are both losing weight and need new clothes.

No plans. I may pick up some steaks on the way home from work, but we're both sick (DD, too) so we may not be able to taste them anyway, so maybe I shouldn't spend the money. I just talked myself out of steak - - it's a sad state of affairs.

I'll probably whip up a handmade v-day card, but that will be it.

DH's bday is Friday, so we'll celebrate enough this weekend.

We're actually going out on a date. We both had to work over the weekend, so this is our chance to go have a night out. Only I have to wake up at 4am the next morning, so the date will probably be a very early night and insanely un-hot. I'm turning into an old lady.
