Is this wrong?

My siblings and I are getting my mom a Kindle for Christmas.  I have amazon certificates for doing some surveys and such.  Is there anything wrong with me using those for my part of the present?

Not at all. (My mom would be impressed I got such a bargain.)

Good enough.  I don't know why I was hesitating.  I just wanted to be sure I was fair to everyone.

Nothing wrong. It would be different if, for example, you found a coupon code online or something and wanted that to count for your part, that would be kind of shady. But you're welcome to use your GC and similarly your siblings are welcome to use any GCs they have. Presumably you would have used them later to buy a book or something, so I don't really see much difference between you using a GC to buy the Kindle and cash to buy the book or vise versa.

    nope.
logically you'd spend the $ at amazon on you...so it's 'money', right?
