SO HAPPY that Baby A is finally napping

He has been a bear today. He slept for 12 hours last night but has been a total grumpus this morning. He ate a good lunch and will hopefully take a 2+ hour nap so I can do laundry and get some work done.

Re: SO HAPPY that Baby A is finally napping

  • i love the bad news bear moods. how hard it must be to be 2.
  • DefConn was completely ornery yesterday.  The sitter said that she called him to follow her to the kitchen.  He followed...after retrieving half of the TP roll from the bathroom.  One of the big kids forgot to close the door behind them.  :)
  • Yep, another grumpy toddler. DS is worn out from the past 10 days. He yelled at me this morning about not wearing socks and told me "you not cute, you mean". Okay then.

That's hilarious. I guess he told you.
  • I had to giggle at "you not cute, you mean!"   That's hilarious.
  • I'm hoping he wakes up with a completely different attitude. Otherwise, it will be early to bed for grouchy little boys.

  • hehehhee PMeg.

M2 woke up at 3 and 4 and both of them were up at 5.  6let looked me right in the eye this morning and punched M2 in the face.  Yep, time out before 8 am for the bday boy.  Hopefully preschool resets some attitudes.
  • He was looking at a picture of the three of us and the dogs on the wall. He went through everyone else and told me they were cute, except me. Probably because I make him do things like wear clothes and brush his teeth. If that makes me mean, so be it but I'm going to be absolutely horrible for all the other things I'm going to make him do when he's older.

  • Screw you and your children who nap beyond the age of 18m.

    Just kidding.

    Mostly.

  • I'm not going to complain about my kid - but I feel bad for her with the big puffy eye. I think the benadryl made her a little loopy this morning - if only it had worked that well on the plane.
  • By the way, he's not napping. He's singing and dancing around his crib.

    That's fine. He'll drop eventually.

DefConn spends up to a half an hour a night throwing his loveys around his crib and talking to himself.  His crib is his happy place.
  • Usually at night he's pretty good, but naptime is preceeded by similar activities. Talking to his babies, throwing them around, hiding under the blanket, etc.

<div>Wolverine will do the same thing. She'll tell me it's time for "night night" just so she can get in her crib and play with her friends. I'm hoping this lasts for a very long time. </div>
  • FTR, I think you're cute and mean.
