~~Barbie- on the roaster~~

Be prepared that things will cook faster than in an oven.  We've done turkeys in there and they always get done faster than you would expect.  They are also great for the dressing, or we put mashed potatoes in them.  You can get some crunchy edges, but you have to have extra milk and butter on hand in case it gets too hot.

Thanks! I'm trying a turkey in there this year - the smallest one I could get was 12lbs...  for the 2 of us. It was cheaper to buy the whole turkey than a small breast. I'm going to freeze the leftovers.

We made the rounds to the local grocery stores and took advantage of their turkey deals. bought 3 turkeys and stuck the 2 big ones in the chest freezer. We'll make them when we have visitors.

I always make my stuffing on the side, although I may stuff the turkey too. There's never enough leftover stuffing.
