I can really relate to her about the family stuff. I do have parents, but they don't live nearby, and I feel like we're forced to spend a lot of time with his parents.

    I feel for her too.  My parents aren't as far away as yours are, but we still don't see them nearly as often as we do the IL's. 

    Like on Sunday, I *didn't* really want to go see them, but DH insisted and I was too tired to argue.  It worked out in the end, but I seriously get tired of DH feeling like we have to hang out with them to give us or them 'something to do'.  I don't mind us just hanging out as our little family and not having to see anyone.
