Is THIS a good reason to kick out a BM?

 I have a roommate who has been with me the past 2.5 years. We have always had fun and been really good friends. We even have similar personalities! When I first started dating my now fiancee, it seemed everything had fallen into place. This past year has been mayhem. She would get upset with me when I would go on dates with my BF, saying snide remarks to guilt me into being with her. When we talked about it, it basically boiled down to "I don't want you to go out with him unless I have plans too because then I'm left all alone". When I got engaged, she was one of the first people I told. At first she seemed really happy, but later that week when we went to try on dresses, she kept making snarky remarks about the dresses I wanted to try on and kept picking out dresses for HER wedding (she is not engaged). This past year has shown me how irresponsible and dramatic she is with her latest stint being to lock my cat in my room for 3 days (no food no water) while I went to see my family. I still can't leave the house without my cat freaking out.  At this point she is still my MOH, and my question is should  I give her one more chance to redeem herself? Or should I just nip this in the bud right now?

how did she know that the cat was locked up for 3 days? Did the cat tell her?  Good grief.

Uh. Not only would I kick her out, I might lock HER in a room without food or water for 3 days. I am ridiculously protective over my cats.

I think people with long friendships makes it hard to just cut them off, plus, depending on her financial and lease situation she might not be able to kick out the girl or leave herself. Myself being a cat owner would have a very hard time letting someone who "forgot" my cats like that would be hard to forgive, but if it was an honest mistake or emergency where my friend profusely apologize for their actions it would be tough call to end a friendship. But I'm sure the Oping now knows not to trust this girl ever again with something important like her cat.

If there was sufficient mea culpa, the friendship MIGHT survive (like...oh, the cat-owner neglected to properly ask friend to deal w/ cat for 3 days [because, yeah, even if I have roomies, I DO have to tell the roomie "OOT, can you make sure cat is breathing?"] AND the roomie was very "ZOMGS< I could have hurt your cat and I so so so so so suck.  I'm very sorry!  zomgs")...(I"m not saying it's not horrid just that--shit happens.  I mean, my cat has spent 8 hours in a closet because he's a dumbass and I didn't notice...if he wasn't MINE?  I could have screwed that up worse)

but if it was "whoops, sorry--no biggie"...yeah, no.  no more friendship, no more BM.

Not only would I kick her out of the wedding, but I'd also kick her out of my life. No one locks my cat in the bathroom for 3 days without food or water.

So, let me get this straight.

Friends are roommates, BFF's, do everything together.
Friend A gets engaged.
Friend A asks Friend B to be MOH.
Friend B gets jealous.
Friend A goes out of town and b*tch B locks A's cat in room for 3 days with no food or water.

Either B has serious issues or wants to marry A too. Just sayin'.
