Wedding Woes

Woah.

I thought a lot of premies were unexplained/unexplainable? Like, some people just get here earlier, yeah?

My BFF was three month early when she was born. She's fine now, and has always been pretty healthy, and there was no real reason for her to have been early. Her brother was born full-term.

I don't know crap about big babies. I do know my (size 6, eating disordered) mother had my youngest brother two and a half weeks early, because he was already over 8 pounds.

This just seems so - uneducated.

Most of them seemed like opinion pieces. Like, "I judge you for wearing pink sparkles on your shoes!" This one just seemed OTT, even for them.

And I guess because having a premie is sometimes so touch-and-go, and so dangerous, that it just seems too mean to accuse the mother of doing something wrong when that's a misconception you can clear up with a quick Googling.

Maybe it's just that I like to know I'm right before I start judging. Makes it easier to stay up here on my high horse.

This is some dumb.  If you do everything right you get a perfectly sized baby on your due date?  Really?  Someone please send this woman to the loss board and let her be ripped to shreds.

Further evidence to support my opinion that there should be a test before you can procreate. FFS.

so, if Buffy was born tomrrow, it'd be because I had caffine today and I'm still working, right?

    Idiots.

Dude, Mr Chubby was 2 weeks early (so not technically a preemie) but was a good 8 pounds. He's been 95% percentile or higher since we got him home from the hospital. I take pride in this fact. I'm doing NOTHING wrong. I just have sweet, delicious milk flowing out of me that is excellent for fattening up babies.

Also, how can you hate fat baby rolls? They are delectable.
