If the The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences doesn't invite you to the Oscars, bring the Oscars to you! That's what Teen Mom star Amber Portwood did!
On Sunday, the young mom/reality star/possible jailbird treated Hamilton, Indiana to the Hollywood treatment with a "red carpet" Oscar screening event at the Cambria Suite and Hamilton Town Center IMAX Theater. (For your reference should you ever be in the area, its the hotel behind the town center and Mike's Car Wash.)
Joined by her baby daddy Gary Shirley, Amber dressed to the nines in vintage couture a dress by Burlington Coat Factory and jewelry by Kay Jewelers. The pair hosted a "vip" reception before the big show for a gaggle of hotel employees and "fans." Sources say that Gary and Amber were all too thrilled to pose for pictures and sign autographs for the dozens of people who showed up.
Number of other celebrities that attended? Zero.
But so what? Who cares? Just look at those two, all smiley and lovey-dovey for the cameras. It's almost like she never beat the crap out of him in front of their impressionable daughter and all of America! Sweet.
And by sweet, we mean incredibly sad. Just sad.
