Weather conditions here are pretty crappy right now. Roads are completely covered and snow is still coming down.
Our school system is the only one in the area open today. And people are piisssed.
Their FB page is getting blown up by parents and high school students, telling the administrators how dumb they are and HOW CAN WE TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO CARE FOR OUR CHILDREN?!?!!? It has been very entertaining.
I also think they made a poor decision, but you as a parent can keep your child home if you don't feel it is safe to take them to school. We are keeping son home today because our street (which is normally very well kept because the place where they house the plows is not too far from here) is awful and we don't want to have to brave them twice.
