Dear Prudie,
I like to check out VHS movies from my local library. The last one was a Civil War documentary about General Custer's last stand. But I was appalled to realize that the tape contained nothing of the sort, and was a homemade pornographic film! As if this wasn't disturbing enough, I noticed that two of the people "acting" on the tape bore a close resemblance to a former co-worker of mine at the local high school and a former student. I didn't leave the tape in long enough to see what happened between the two of them, but I always thought they had a strange relationship. My former co-worker has passed away and I'm certain the student now has a family of her own. What should I do with the tape?

I'm most disturbed that this person still checks out VHS videos.   Who does that?

Is it weird I thought the same thing?

But the homemade porn is hilarious. Return it to the library and allow whatever other old person in the town that still has a VHS player to enjoy it.

Return the tape? Of a teacher and an underaged student banging each other? assuming the IDs are correct Did said student know it was being videotaped at all or know it's been distributed for public consumption and voyeurism? I'd personally consider trying to return it to the student for their disposal.

No good could come from giving this tape to anyone else - former student or back to the library.  I say the person should distroy the tape and forget what they think they saw.
