i was not prepared for how LOUD poops would be.  i can hear him filling a diaper from other rooms.

i can see why a baby will save a marriage.  issues with the baby have totally strengthened all the good parts of our marriage (spirit of compromise, wanting the other person to be rested and happy, etc.).

the 2nd one is easier.  i swear it took mr. kat and i a year and a half to get back on track after miles was born.

but with cameron, barely any problem at all.  now if only i wanted to have the bcbc.  if anything the lack of sexy time will destroy the marriage this time around.

I swear, in retrospect DH and I probably would not have ended up in counseling if we had simply been getting anywhere near enough sleep.  IKWYM about sleep deprivation and irrationality.

after the misery surrounding the first few weeks of this one, i was begging dh that we were "one and done."  i'm still unsure about two, and considering how geriatric my eggs are, we need to figure this out within two-three years.

yes, i've been out and about -- while wearing the baby.  what?  it's like ankle weights.  ankle weights that cry and spit up on your shirt.

at least i'm not bfing AND babywearing.

I did that a couple times. It was during or growth spurt. Baby was nursing non-stop and I was tired of sitting. I hadn't been outside in days. I was definitely "one and done" during the first few weeks.
