that's just dumb.
I may post the whole rant on FB later but, long story short...some asshole instructor told the secretary to call me and say that I wasn't 'needed' @ work today.
BULL. SHI1T.
For cereal, just because he only sees one small aspect of my job does NOT mean he knows what I do--he has no idea.
And I have more to do today than I have time to do it in.
And...he's not my boss.
And apparently he's forgotten that I'm kinda a full-time, UNION employee--he doesn't just get to send me home when there's not work to do (and, see above, there IS work to do).
He also tried to send home my student worker--yeah, no, he has his OWN student workers he can send him, mine is MINE--I do her timesheets, she is working today because my 7months PG ass is NOT moving boxes w/o someone else to lift them today.
(although boss is pissed on my behalf, which helps.
ANd boss also OKed me being off tomorrow AM to go to a friend's dad's funeral. It was a kinda sucky weekend)
