I love, love, LOVE True Blood!!!!!!  HBO is premiering season 3 on my birthday... just for me.

Haven't read the books but I've been watching since the beginning.

I just started reading book one.  I heard the first season follows book one closely but after that the show and books take off in completely different directions.

For example, the dead person in the back of Detective Bellefleur at the end of season one is actually Lafayette.  I'm so glad they didn't kill him off in the show.

Eric is so yummy.  *sigh*

We may have to turn the HBO back on when True Blood comes back. We're huge fans.

I have read 9 of the total 10 books and watched all the episodes! They're fantastic. My best friend and I read them together, and it was so much fun. The show and the book series have discrepancies, but I love knowing the depth of the relationships and the characters beforehand. Can't wait for seasons 3 and 4!!
