That thing about DD moving up to the next swim class?
1. It's not the usual Parents STFU crap, she genuinely wept through the first four classes last summer. When they put her on the slide, she scanned the sidelines for me and yelled "Mommy! Mommy, help me!" She seriously thought they were going to drown her, and now she can actually kinda sorta swim--it's not pretty, but the criteria for moving her up are just independent forward progression in the water with some basic arm/leg coordination and her face in the water.
