Wedding Woes

s/o dog gates

I've been doing a bad job of keeping Stanley on his no stairs, no running, no jumping schedule, but I did go buy some baby gates so that I didn't have to keep doors closed all of the time.  I like having the house open too much to sit in the dark with a sad dog.

So at Wal-Mart I went to the pet section and their gates were $25.  I decided to swing through the baby section (even though I could see the watchful eyes wondering WTH I was doing there) and the gates there were only $12.  So I can only conclude from this that people are willing to spend more on their dogs than their babies.

Re: s/o dog gates

  • I would think the dog gates would be stronger than baby gates, because a dog would be stronger than a baby. But who knows?

I was just reminded of a story.

  • Monty has a Safety first gate that swings out so that I don't have to constantly move it.
