The Five Year Engagement
it was just long. i FF'd through most of it. man, i love that DVR. i only recorded it because i caught 5 minutes during the proposal, and wanted to see the rest.
it was written by jason segal, and it's a judd apetow movie, so there ya go. love him or hate him. but this was not their best work. in fact, i think jason segal needs to sack up and let go of whatever wrong some woman must have done to him to cause this movie and Forgetting Sarah Marshall (which is actually funnier after watching it a few times) to both happen.
it's not a bad movie, it's just not great. it's a nice change from the doofus guy and the woman who puts up with him so he could have a life partner. in this 9and sarah marshall), the guy doesn't seem to have any flaws. NONE! really? okay.
so, that's it. recommend, but only if nothing else is on.
there were some very funny parts, though.
