We don't have the greatest house/patio/back yard for entertaining, but I think if we did it more often I wouldn't get so darn anxious when we do. July is going to be a tough month for me, but this weekend is pretty care free. My house is clean and our flower beds are in relatively good shape (thanks to me and my "ho" skills). So if we wanted we could run to the store for some hot dogs and burgers and send out a mass e-mail to invite people over for a BBQ on Sunday (most of the events planned in our little town are going down on Saturday). But I also know that a lot of people that we know are out of town or already have plans.
So, which is more pathetic:
1. Sitting alone with 50 hot dogs and an even bigger pile of rejection?
2. Sitting alone and complaining about not having anything to do?

I just a friendly gal looking for options.
