Wedding Woes

It just struck me...(sad thought)

Ww is the third person 'young' (under 40) person I've known to die of cancer in the last 3 (or so) years...

First was my supervisor in July 2007.  He died at 31 (renal cancer).

Then Anna (almost two months ago, which I still can't believe).  She was 28 (metastatic breast cancer).

And now Ww and stomach cacner.

This is really sad...and also kind of scary if you think about it.

Oh and even worse...I know of two people right now battling lymphoma.  (a girl from my local and my co-worker's 19 year old granddaughter.)

I can't help but wonder if she would be alive if she didn't go to law school. You know, because she was blaming her symptoms on school stress.

Is there a cancer-free biodome somewhere?  I would like to go there and take you all with me.

    I've wondered the same thing.

I've also wondered, in Anna's case, if the Dr. had investigated further THE FIRST TIME she came in regarding the lump in her breast if that would have changed her outcome or not.  She had to wait almost 2 years for them to biopsy her lump.
