re: adoption post from earlier

i don't think anyone mentioned this - my first thought was that the mother was raped, and the child was the product of such. 

i think if i was raped, decided to have the child, and gave it up for adoption, i would want nothing to do with that child.

    i'm surprised you'd even entertain the idea of having the child, barbie.

    i don't know how i'd feel, but i don't know if i'd be able to go for adoption. thank god i haven't ever had to know my decision on this issue.
  • i think that a woman should be able to choose to have an abortion, but i don't think i would, unless medically "necessary."  

    i've never been in that situation, but i think i would have the baby and give it up for adoption, if i was. i think i could deal better knowing that a worthy parent/couple was caring for the child, than i could with having an abortion.

    would you take a morning after pill? i'm just curious. i definitely would, and then hope i wouldn't have to make any more decisions.
