Late to the party, as usual, but I can't recommend Spanx or their Target knockoff, Assets enough. They don't necessarily slim much, but they definitely smooth out any lumps or bumps you'd rather not show. An added bonus is the ones I have (I have a few tanks, one unitard, and one that's like a damn straight jacket) all make my bosom look fabulous. If you have time, swing by and pick up something before you try the dresses on.
