- Re: Living apart - we did it for five months and yes, it was pretty difficult at times. But honestly (and this will sound cliched), it made our relationship so much better. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder. Our relationship is much stronger now than it was just a year ago. But would I ever want to do it again? Hell no.

- Toby's out in the yard, taking a dump, and staring at me as I type this.

- I was *thisclose* to buying a pair of black leggings at Macy's. They actually looked (dare I say it) good with a cute tunic top. I didn't buy them, but if they go on sale, I just might. Judge away!

- MIL & sFIL are coming to visit for Thanksgiving. I'm really happy about this. Whodathunkit?

    Oh! And one more! Our good friends just found out they're having a girl. I'm ridiculously excited for them, but a little sad because I don't know when we'll ever get to see them.

    Go for the leggings if they go on sale. I don't wear leggings really, but the one pair I used to have were super comfortable.

    And that's sweet that you're excited about your IL's. Maybe absence made your heart grow fonder towards them as well?

    Get the leggings. Even I gave in, and I love them in winter under casual skirts or multi-season dresses. I'm trying to find some cropped ones for summer, so I can avoid chub rub, but so far, no dice.
